What is considered an "item" ?

An “item” is any one piece that a mover could pick up and carry, on his own, without struggling. An example of an item would be: A small, medium or large (lightweight) box, a lamp, small office chair, plastic bin (tote), small rug, art work bag, mini fridge

*Double Items: Bulky, extra large, or heavy items, that  weigh more than 45 lbs.,  require more than one mover to transport the item safely.  Bulky items such as an extra large (6.1 cube feet box) or heavy boxes, medium sized boxes full of books, bikes, large artwork, twin size box spring, twin size mattress, oddly packed boxes, boxes with items taped to them, large mini fridges, or tall dressers may be considered and counted as two items, as in “double items”.

Triple Items: Large/extra large boxes filled with heavy items such as books, sofas, long dressers, full size mattress, full size box spring, fragile or oversized art work-will count as 3 items.
